We feature Sky’s fiddle playing on this lovely barndance. Interestingly enough, the tune was originally known as Kitty O’Neill’s Champion in honor of Kitty O’Neill, a celebrated Irish-American variety theater dancer of the late 19th century on the East Coast. The tune was revived by the playing of fiddler Tommy Peoples (1948-2018), who named it Kitty O’Shea’s.
